PSD is pleased to be supplying equipment to support a pipejacking project in Abu Dhabi. The contract was signed in late 2011 and the equipment, an SD1000DP primary shaker & SM500PSDP desander along with a consignment oif spare parts, was shipped from the UK in early February 2012. The client, McConnell Dowell Abu Dhabi LLC, is constructing 1200m of 2.8m ID tunnel for underground cables, excavated mainly in sand and limestone. The project consists of a number of different drives and one of the reasons for selecting PSD's equipment was its small footprint and ease of assembly and disassembly when moving from one drive to the next.
